Glycolic acid made at our Belle, West Virginia plant is purified here into our high-purity grades, including Glypure®. Owning both sites means we control supply from synthesis through purification.
PureTech acquired the site in October 2025 and it covers 44 acres, with 86,000 square feet across six buildings and three integrated production lines. Equipment includes 15+ glass-lined and stainless steel reactors from 700 to 3,000 gallons, a Process Lab wit jacketed lab reactors from 500 mL to 20 L, and an on-site analytical lab. The site also has more than 175,000 gallons of bulk tank storage, a 40,000 square foot temperature-controlled warehouse, and three bulk loading stations for tank trailers and ISO containers. An experienced team runs the site 24/7.
